Pisces (The Fish)
Shortly after the sun is in Aquarius, it moves into the zodiacal sign of Pisces. Pisces is symbolized by two fish. Thus we would expect to see Jesus’ ministry representing something to do with two fish. This is exactly the case, for shortly after John’s baptism (Aquarius the Water Bearer), Jesus finds two disciples, Simon and Andrew, who are fisherman.
“And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers” (Matthew 4:18).
Another interesting point to be made here is the Greek meaning of “Galilee;” Strong’s Concordance states that it means the “heathen circle.” If you remember my first post on the Zodiac and the Bible, I showed you how Job and Psalms mentions scriptures that show God told his story in the stars by the “circle” of the Zodiac.
You should also note that the Pope wears a mitre, which is in the shape of a fish, correlating to Pisces.
Overall Pisces, one of the three water signs, represents purity and self sacrifice. Jesus certainly represents both, and since the sun and Jesus both represent the human soul on its journey to enlightenment, they show us that we are meant to become pure from the defilement of the ego. Self sacrifice, or the act of sacrificing our own egos, is the game here.
If you look at the life of Simon Peter, one of the two fish that Jesus found at the beginning of his ministry, you’ll notice that he is always struggling with the ego. He denies Jesus (the egoless) and Jesus even had to tell him “Get thee behind me, Satan.” Satan is also the ego in us, and Jesus was telling Peter that his ego was trying to block the true self from the expression of love (which the true self is).
Finally, we should also note that the two fish in the sign of Pisces are swimming in opposite directions of one another. Again, the ego is always at odds with the true self. But once the sign is completed by the sun (and Jesus’ ministry), we know the ego can finally be completely sacrificed.

What does this knowledge mean to us?
As I have said before, Jesus’ life as it is related to the sun’s travels through the zodiac is a depiction of the soul’s birth and death on the physical plane as it relates to attaining Christ consciousness. It is the plan of salvation for every human being should they choose to undertake the journey of crucifying their ego.
We must also remember that the Gospel stories depict Jesus’ ministry as taking place in one year. The sun travels through the 12 houses of the Zodiac in one year. Coincidence? I think not. Remember, even Enoch, another Christ figure and type was taken by God at 365 years old. 365 days represents the completion of the solar year.
With all the Zodiacal signs complete we can see a rebirth of the physical man into a spiritual man. This is the goal for anyone undertaking the advanced spiritual journey. I wish you the best as you undertake your own!
