Mastering Your Powers: Sacred Sexuality: the Tantric & Related Colors

Tantra, also called Tantrism and Tantric religion, is an ancient Hindu tradition of beliefs and meditation and ritual practices that seeks to channel the divine energy of the macrocosm or godhead into the human microcosm,[1] in order to attain siddhis and moksha. It arose in India no later than the 5th century CE,[2] and had a strong influence on both Hinduism and Buddhism. -wiki

Neotantra, navatantra (Sanskrit: नव, nava 'new') or tantric sex, is the modern, western variation of tantra often associated with new religious movements. This includes both New Age and modern Western interpretations of traditional Hindu and Buddhist tantra. Some of its proponents refer to ancient and traditional texts and principles,[1][2] and many others use tantra as a catch-all phrase for "sacred sexuality", and may incorporate unorthodox practices. In addition, not all of the elements of Indian tantric practices are used in neotantra, in particular the reliance on a guru parampara. -wiki

Many have heard of Tantra but are unfamiliar with it and its benefits. Some have heard it makes sex better. That is true but that is not all Tantra is about. Tantra literally means to expand. To expand your mind, body, and spirit. To use your powerful sexual energy to embrace life. To use it to heal old wounds and thought patterns. Most people in our society have been raised with negative attitudes towards sex. Whether raised religious or just conservative, most were brought up to feel that all thoughts of being pure sexual beings were not natural and were wrong. Many of us have been affected by child abuse, rape, or just harsh criticism by ones who love us. How could this not result in negative inner feelings about sexual energy and its power?
Lets start to change that mindset!

"That there is actually three types of Tantric Yoga.  One is White Tantric Yoga that can remove the garbage from your subconscious mind, which blocks you from seeing your real self.  It does involve the male & female energy, and does not involve sexual intercourse, nor do you take off your clothes.  The second is Red Tantric and directs the energy for sensual purposes.  And the third is Black Tantric that directs the energy to manipulate another human being.  All other forms of Tantra, are an offshoot of this."        -Yogi Bhajan

"
Tantra does not mean to expand a man's six inches into twelve inches.  There is a lot more to life, then a ten to twenty second orgasm between the legs.
...
Even today, many people still don't fully realize what tantra truly is.  They look at a book called the Kama Sutra, at all those sexual positions, and think that is Tantra or Tantric Yoga."

"Though a man may be six feet tall, most men are ruled by their six inches."-Yogi Bhajan
"Sexual intercourse is not a relationship between his penis and her vagina.  It is total merger of their polarities, auras, spirits and consciousness.  Appreciating and respecting this can bring a blissful merger for both on the highest spiritual levels.  "Sex is a sacred act, created by God, which if done consciously, can take the couple straight to God."  [Whatever our concept of God is, it will take us to that concept.]
-"Sexuality As A Sacred Meditation," by S.S. Guru Terath Kaur Khalsa Ph.D.
"You should have your three nervous systems in balance before you start intercourse.  If the parasympathetic nervous system is out of balance, the man will have difficulty getting an erection.  If his sympathetic nervous system is out of action, he will ejaculate quickly.  If your action nervous system is out of balance, he will have a problem ejaculating at all.  Kundalini Yoga corrects these problems."-Yogi BhajanClic
