"The fourth chakra is at the center of the seven chakras with three below and three above. This is the area where physical and spiritual meet. The fourth chakra, also referred to as the heart chakra, is located at the center of the chest and includes the heart, cardiac plexus, thymus gland, lungs, and breasts. It also rules the lymphatic system. The Sanskrit word for the fourth chakra is Anahata, which means “unstruck” or “unhurt.” The name implies that beneath the hurts and grievances of past experiences lies a pure and spiritual place where no hurt exists.
When your heart chakra is open, you are flowing with love and compassion, you are quick to forgive, and you accept others and yourself. A closed heart chakra can give way to grief, anger, jealousy, fear of betrayal, and hatred toward yourself and others." -source

“True love is the complete victory of the particular over the general, and the unconditional over the conditional.” – Naseem Nicholas Taleb We are all scientists, trying to make sense of the love inside us. Most things exist along a rollercoaster ride of degrees. So it is also with love. Our definitions of love are not as black and white as we’d like them to be, they’re ambiguously gray and often imprecise. The border around our idea of love is mostly an illusion, permeable and ever-changing; more like a horizon than a boundary. There are, after all, over seven billion of us on this planet, and we each have our own unique psycho-physiological perception of what love means. Demanding that the universe adhere to our definition of love is one of our greatest human fallacies. It’s as if we’re asking the universe to stand still so that we can be certain about our love in order to justify our definition of it. But the universe is not designed to match our expectations. Neither should it be pigeonholed into our finite definitions. Like David Deutsch said: “If you reject the infinite, you are stuck with the finite, and the finite is parochial. The best explanation of anything eventually involves universality, and therefore infinity. The reach of explanations cannot be limited by fiat.” And so our explanations of love should not be limited by fiat, lest it be ruled by the misconception and expectation of others.

Love is infinite.
By infinite I mean:
1 : extending indefinitely : endless <infinite space> 2 : immeasurably or inconceivably great or extensive: inexhaustible <infinite patience> 3 : subject to no limitation or external determination 4a: extending beyond, lying beyond, or being greater than any preassigned finite value however large <infinite number of positive numbers>
This truth sets fire. This truth, if indeed truth, can stop suicide, heal hearts, and sharpen our lives like swords — that is to say, it can give them a point, and make of them weapons against boredom and badness. We are skeptical of infinite love, not because the concept is too strange to be true, but because we experience love so innately that we have ceased to recognize it as truly strange, as the child cannot recognize the striking, unique human being that is his mother, so close is he to her heart. But if love is infinite, then we are living with an experience that transcends the finite universe, and with constant evidence of eternity. Perhaps we are too close to see it. (read more...)
Not only are machines rapidly catching up to - and exceeding - humans in terms of raw computing power, they are also starting to do things that we used to consider inherently human. They can feel emotions like regret. They can daydream. So what is - exactly - that humans still do better than machines?
Quite simply, humans are amazing pattern-recognition machines. They have the ability to recognize many different types of patterns - and then transform these "recursive probabalistic fractals" into concrete, actionable steps. If you've ever watched a toddler learn words and concepts, you can almost see the brain neurons firing as the small child starts to recognize patterns for differentiating between objects. Intelligence, then, is really just a matter of being able to store more patterns than anyone else. Once IBM could build machines that could recognize as many chessboard patterns as a chess grandmaster, the machines became "smarter" than humans. (Read More..)
"We have not even to risk the adventure alone, for the heroes of all time have gone before us. The labyrinth is thoroughly known; we have only to follow the thread of the hero path. And where we had thought to find an abomination, we shall find a god. And where we had thought to slay another, we shall slay ourselves. And where we had thought to travel outward, we shall come to the center of our own existence. And where we had thought to be alone, we shall be with all the world."

"So when we think root chakra, we want to focus in on grounding. Adding in foods like: carrots, potatoes, parsnips, radishes, onions and garlic, and anything else that roots itself, can have a soothing effect for our root chakra.
Dandelion Root tea can be a great way to end a day that has left you feeling a little disconnected, and it's caffeine free!
A healthy root chakra vibrates at the color red. Therefore, red foods provide the vibration needed to help balance the root chakra. Nutritionally, red foods usually have high levels of vitamin C–a nutrient utilized by several body parts that the root chakra oversees, like bones, teeth, skin and adrenals. Some red foods you could try are tomatoes, strawberries, apples, pomegranates and cherries."
Circle, triangle and square together at every level – whether the macrocosm, cosmos or microcosm – a universal symbol for the divine creation, in its perfect manifestation of spirit (circle), soul (triangle) and body (square). Thus, the sign of the unity of circle, triangle and square is also a symbol of the divine human being, who is to be revealed on the path of Rosycross. (source)
The spinning neutron star produces beams of radiation that sweep across your line of sight like a lighthouse beam does for ships at sea. In the lighthouse model the neutron star's strong magnetic field creates a strong electric field. The electric field makes charged particles (mostly electrons) flow out of the magnetic poles. As the charged particles spiral around the magnetic field lines, they produce electromagnetic radiation (recall from the electromagnetic radiation chapter that any moving charge will create electromagnetic radiation). The energy is called non-thermal radiation because it is not produced by a hot, dense object, but by accelerated charges. The shape of the continuous spectrum is different from a normal thermal spectrum and does not depend on the temperature. A type of particle accelerator in physics laboratories here on Earth called a ``synchroton'' produces this kind of radiation too, so it is sometimes called ``synchrotron radiation''. (read more...)

You might wonder how we lost our natural third eye sight? The false self wants power over the True Self. In Jesus’ terms, the True Self was the Father within. The false self was Satan. Initiates knew that the top of the triangle related to truth; either side of the bottom of the triangle was false. False was not inherently bad unless you added judgment.
If I want to control you, I take one side of the bottom of the triangle and add judgment, making it right or good. If you don’t fit my criteria for good or obey my laws, you’re labeled bad or wrong in my world. No one wants to be bad or wrong, so we don’t discriminate, we simply blindly obey authority figures. When we accept an authority’s false judgments or beliefs into our own mind, we cover up our truth or our third eye sight.
We don’t do this naturally. Two year olds are known for a lack of obedience to authority. But if you punish them enough, they will learn to obey. This is the key; we learn to obey. We are not born obedient. (read more...)
"At any given moment I have thoughts zipping through my brain, crisscrossing like train lines on a subway map. I use tea-focused moments to pause the commotion and mindfully taste the brew I've prepared. Tea and meditation pair up in a matcha meditation event at The Shinnyo Center I recently had the pleasure of attending. The event consisted of a Japanese tea ceremony, guided meditation, and a tasting of matcha with a sweet biscuit." (read more...)
All persons born from January 20 to February 18, inclusive, were born under the sign of Aquarius.
This is the last sign of the Air Triplicity, and people born under it will do well to give the strictest heed and attention to what I say here. Your strength and power lies wholly within your own hands, and it is very important that you so think and live as to bring out your great possibilities. You must not rely on your friends for help, but must be thoroughly self-reliant, self-supporting and independent. But you should rely on and pay great attention to the teachings and writings of good and great men and women, who are striving to help mankind. You have days of great happiness and days of great misery, and you must learn how to avoid these blue spells and have all of your days bright and happy. This can be done by your understanding once and for all time that you are possessed of unusual powers and abilities; but, if you are lazy and blue you cannot use these powers. Wake up, then, and by your will throw off all (source )
For an individual, the midheaven is literally the point over their head at the time of birth. It is the high point of an axis going from space to the center of the earth directly through their body. The powers of the larger cosmos enter into them along this axis. Their perception of their goals in life, their image of what they can become in their perfection, and the way in which they can unite themselves with the divine powers of the universe are all indelibly colored by the sign on their midheaven. Similarly, the culture's perception of its long-term goals, its potential evolution, and its relationship to the universe at large is colored by the vernal equinox sign for its era. The perceptions are identical except for the scale on which they appear. Therefore the vernal equinox sign is properly set in correspondence to the midheaven, and the positions of the other three signs are adjusted accordingly. (Read More...)

This will guide you to your professional achievements and responsibilities. Your life's purpose, if you will. Your highest aspirations in life.
"I lusted, craved and longingly desired for their mind, their heart, their body and suddenly passion was deeper than skin deep. It was a spiritual experience of higher thinking. Their body alone was not enough to satisfy the orgasmic higher thinking that demanded satisfaction in my very action. Only when I had transcended this body, with them, once again, on a higher plane would the flames calm to be embers to the soul. This is was demand pressed upon me in my waking moments and continued to question my old sexual behavior. No longer was I to be satisfied by the things popular culture had taught, bought into to be sexuality. My brain would not be tamed. My heart split out fire. My body pulsated with the energy of a thousand stars, constellations, Universes. I sang, she came and in the passions of fire we conspired to dream erotica that was made from the mouth of psychedelic passions that were beyond words known - We were one in the spirit of the energies we made manifest." - Colton Culture “A person’s approach to sexuality is a sign of her or his level of evolution. Unevolved persons practice ordinary sexual intercourse. Placing all emphasis upon the sexual organs, they neglect the body’s other organs and systems. Whatever physical energy is accumulated is summarily discharged (through orgasm), and the subtle energies are similarly dissipated and disordered. It is a great backward leap.” – Lao Tzu
“First we bring together, then we putrefy, we break down what has been putrefied, we purify the divided, we unite the purified and harden it. In this way is One made from man and woman.”
– Stein der Weisen, 18th century
"Using sexual energies to transform oneself spiritually is done in the practice called alchemy (White Tantra), which is a sacred sex between a loving couple. Mixed sexual energy of man and woman is the prima materia of the old alchemists, the key ingredient of transforming the lead of the personality into the gold of the spirit, a process that takes place within the inner laboratory which is the human body.
Even if you don’t transmute the sexual energy within the practice of alchemy, but are just storing it by being chaste and are working on the first key for spiritual awakening (elimination of egos), you would see that the amount of your physical, emotional and mental strength has increased significantly. Your inner state would be much improved – you would be much more balanced, focused, anf perceptive. The sense of genuine happiness would occur more often; mental and psychic abilities would improve, your spiritual practices would get on a new level, your aura (which is also the sexual energy) would grow and offer more protection, and much more...If you are chaste and don’t have a partner with whom you can transmute the sexual energies in the practice of alchemy, but you are practicing other keys to awakening, then you could sublime the stored sexual energy with practice called Ham Sah.
